Hillary Savoie
Hillary Savoie joined SMBC MANUBANK in February 2023 and serves as Managing Director, Chief Banking Officer. As the bank’s first Chief Banking Officer, she is responsible for all client, marketing, and product development-related activities for Commercial and Business Banking operations, including the Japan/Asia Business Division.
Hillary is an accomplished financial services executive who brings deep experience within the commercial and corporate banking markets, business development, relationship banking, lending, deposit acquisition, and cross sell. She oversees growth initiatives that include transforming the commercial banking business to become the premier relationship bank for clients, as well as integrating the bank with parent company, SMBC.
Most recently, Hillary served as Managing Director, Group Head Corporate Banking at CIT Group, a division of First Citizens Bank. In this role she provided solutions to middle market and mid-corporate companies. Prior to that, Hillary served as Senior Vice President, Region Manager Commercial Banking at One West Bank. She’s also held various senior relationship management positions with Citibank and Union Bank overseeing all aspects of business development, cross sell, portfolio management, execution, underwriting, and risk management.
Hillary enjoys spending time with family, traveling and mentoring the next generation of young bankers.
